Heroic Olive Cultivation
The idea of the recovery of heroic olive groves is born from the ancient olive grove below the belvedere of Montefalco. An abandoned forest that Pompeo Farchioni decided to recover and put back in production by starting a sustainability project social and environmental.

Where the olive trees defy time
A unique and authentic oil
The ancient heart of Umbria
Farchioni is committed to the recovery and enhancement of historic olive groves, often located in difficult areas and now abandoned. These olive groves, called "heroic", include plants over hundred grown on land with slopes of more than 30%, terraces, small islands or altitudes above 500 meters.
Despite the logistical and economic challenges, these olive groves represent an invaluable landscape and cultural heritage.

Deep Roots
Passion and Dedication
Custodians of a legacy
The extra virgin olive oil "Olivicoltura Eroica" is the result of this commitment. Characterized by a medium fruity with herbaceous notes, a bitter and a spicy balanced, this oil is ideal to enhance refined dishes or simply enjoyed raw on a slice of bread.
Through these efforts, Farchioni not only preserves the Italian olive tradition, but renews it, involving consumers and local communities in a project that combines quality, sustainability and social responsibility.
