PDO Terra di Bari

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

PDO Terra di Bari

Terra di Bari PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained from olives of the Ogliarola Barese and Coratina varieties, born and grown in the charming countryside of central Puglia. The olives, harvested by 30 January each year, undergo the process of oil production within two days of their arrival in the oil mill. This ensures the freshness of the fruit and the maintenance of all the organoleptic properties of the olives themselves.

Cooking Tips

Its character, its flavor and its scent make Terra di Bari PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil a perfect oil to combine with robust dishes such as meat rolls, roasts, soups of legumes and velvety vegetables, or, to best enhance its characteristics, as a condiment for bruschetta, vegetable salads and classic taralli. To be stored away from light and heat sources. It is recommended to use during the year of production.

The taste

The Terra di Bari PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil has an intense green color contrasted by yellow reflections, a sweetly fruity smell and a taste that brings back to the hints of freshly picked fruit with slightly spicy and bitter notes.

CHEF’S ADVICE

Slowly heat the apricot jelly in a saucepan with 2 tablespoons of water until it comes to a boil. Turn the heat off and brush your pie with the jelly reduction: it will make your apples shiny. Let the pie cool completely before slicing it.
