The importance of quality in extra virgin olive oil

Extra virgin olive oil plays an essential role in the preparation of this dish in terms of flavor and preservation:

  • It gives courgettes their flavor, making them perfect to top tasty preparations such as canapés and bruschettas.

  • It is a very effective natural preservative thanks to its antioxidant power: by creating a protective layer around courgettes, it helps preserve them over time.
  • It is rich in ‘good’ fats, essential for human health, and it helps keep cholesterol levels under control.

  • It is much easier to digest than seed oil.

For our recipe we have selected Fruttato Farchioni Extra Virgin Olive Oil, characterized by a fresh, intense aroma and a harmonious, slightly bitter taste.
